Kevin Murphy has had the privilege of walking with and guiding clients through some of the most challenging and exciting times of their lives for the past 17 years. As of September 30, 2014, Kevin was ranked No. 14 among his former firm nationwide in advisory managed assets. He has received top advisory managed asset awards from his former firm for the past seven years and has presented at national conferences regarding the value for clients in implementing Kevin's comprehensive advisory-focused approach.
He utilizes a unique approach to discovering each client's lifetime and legacy aspirations and deploys the associated tools to work toward achieving those objectives. His direct hand in the investment team allows for collective and local decision-making on the quality of investments utilized to support his clients' dreams. Kevin spent the first decade of his professional career helping private corporations and local communities identify and prioritize multimillion-dollar capital improvement projects.
Helping local communities thrive is one of Kevin's passions. He serves on the board of the Washtenaw Estate Planning Council, a group that focuses on enhancing clients' estate planning and accounting pursuits. Kevin has also been honored to serve on the Board and Finance Committee of Peace Neighborhood Center, a critical non-profit that provides tutoring, meals, and housing to at-risk families and their children in Washtenaw County.
Kevin is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in engineering. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations through Commonwealth Financial Network® and has his life insurance license.
